Deep fried calamari recipe
Ingredients:
1 pack Vincent vegan calamari, thawed
300 g Plain Flour
100 g Rice Flour
2 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 tsp Ground White Pepper
1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
1Lemon, sliced
Cooking instructions:
1. Preheat a deep fryer to 1900C.
2. In a clean container that has a secure fitted lid add the flours and seasonings and mix together.
3. Place vegan calamari into the flour.
4. Secure the lid and shake well to coat the vegan calamari.
5. Remove vegan calamari form the flour and place into the fryer in small batches.
6. Cook for 1-2min then removed from fryer.
7. Serve immediately with a pinch of sea salt, lemon slices and salad.
